We grow our greens, herbs, and produce on aeroponic towers. Check out our tower tab on the main menu to get all the scoop on what aeroponic growing is and how it works. This is an affiliate link as I am a rep, so it has lots of info on home towers, school farms, etc. But I promise, they do explain how this all works far better than this redneck could ever hope to with my limited computing skills!

One of the best things about our aeroponic greens is that you are getting living produce. They still have the roots on them and will stay fresh for 2-3 weeks in your refrigerator. Just add a teaspoon of water to the bag if the roots are drying out and they will continue to stay fresh until you are ready to enjoy them.

Where You Can Purchase Our Greens

For the best selection, visit us at the Landrum Farmers Market, Saturday mornings from 8am – 12pm. This is an indoor venue packed full of great local producers located at 221 W. Rutherford St., Landrum SC. We are the third pull in space from the far end of the building on your right as you enter.

You can also find our greens at the Mill Spring Farm store located at 82 NC-9, Suite 4, Mill Spring NC.

We are offering a CSA – the first season starting in June. You can find current information under the Join our CSA link in the menu.

What the heck is a CSA?

CSA stands for community supported agriculture. Here’s a snapshot from the online Merriam Webster Dictionary:

We love this arrangement where the community comes alongside their local farmer and helps them to cover the costs of farming up front. The freshest produce gets directly to the community and the farmer gets the support to keep the farm productive. Another aspect is that the share holder also takes on the risk of farming. Things do happen beyond our control in the farming world and some seasons don’t turn out too great.

We can’t guarantee an act of God won’t prevent us from delivering our weekly shares. But growing in a greenhouse does reduce a lot of the issues that can be really devastating for traditional farming. Also, while we will have towers dedicated to the CSA, if we need to, our members will take priority in distributing our full harvests each week. We love ya’ll and will do everything we can to make sure you get the best we have to give!
